TAG Heuer at the Geneva International Motor-Show 2016

If you are browsing the Geneva PalExpo these days, you will find yourself surrounded by a Lamborghini Centenario , a Bugatti Chiron or an Alfa Romeo Giulia but you might even bump into the F1 Red Bull Racing – TAG Heuer RB12 and the TAG Heuer Team with their stand displaying timepieces. If you think you are in the wrong place, don’t worry, you are attending the correct exhibition: the 80 th International Geneva Motor-Show .

Porsche Racing 911 RSR Patrick Dempsey The historic Swiss high-end watch replica manufacturer has always been strongly connected to the world of Formula 1 cars and is present in Geneva with a 1000-square-meter-stand displaying 5 cars which are very much liked by the brand; the Porsche Dempsey Racing 911 RSR 2015 that won in Suzuka competing in the LM GTE-Am category , the March 701 Siffert , the Formula E 2016 , an electric car whose frame was built by Dallara .

Abarth 595 Competizione Tag Heuer car Last but not least the Abarth 595 Competizione by TAG  Heuer , a 180hp-limited-edition car produced in 30 pieces only and the Red Bull 2016 Formula 1 , the team with whom TAG Heuer have recently signed a collaboration agreement.

TAG Heuer Simulator Geneva Motor Show The Swiss brand is also quite connected to the world of technology, they are the only Swiss manufacturer that has launched a smart watch replica . TAG  Heuer complete their entertainment offer by displaying 5 driving simulators and a small racing circuit for electronic cars that is open to the public.

The exclusivity of the brand is reminded to the visitors by the presence of two VIP lounge and a temporary boutique where you can quietly admire the last collection that includes the recently revisited TAG Heuer Monaco featuring a blue dial and a winding crown on the left hand side (please read here our review).

Patrick Dempsey TAG Heuer If you are not entirely “full” at the end of your tour of the TAG Heuer stand, you can also enjoy an augmented reality virtual experience that will show you the history of the Carrera timepiece, from its launch in 1963 up to the crafting of the last model, the current TAG Heuer Carrera – 02 . Unfortunately we left Geneva last January and we won’t go back there till next year but in two week’s time we will attend the Baselworld exhibition and we are curious to find out what the “ Swiss avantgarde since 1860 ” brand will show us next time.
