Pre-BASELWORLD 2014 – JEANRICHARD 1681 Blue

Pre-BASELWORLD 2014 – The JEANRICHARD 1681 Blue

This is the first time ever JEANRICHARD has turned blue. I mean, not on any timepiece, but definitely on their flagship collection, the JEANRICHARD 1681 Blue , where 1681 stands for the year Daniel Jean Richard created his first timepiece in La Chaux de Fonds. And which represents the only model actually powered by a full in-house movement. Made in two versions: a stainless steel model and a rose gold one, both boasting a 44mm wide satin and mirror finished case.

The stainless steel JEANRICHARD 1681 Blue adopts the JR1000 caliber with a central seconds hand, while the rose gold one is powered by caliber JR1090 , which adds the small seconds complication at 9 o’ clock, delicious! Both models showcase not only a 48 hours power reserve and a 4Hz frequency, but mostly a lacquered blue dial, where rodium plated or rose gold indexes are applied respectively. The stainless steel model sports a Barenia leather bracelet, replaced by an alligator strap matching the rose gold case. Further information and full live coverage to be provided later this month, at Baselworld!
