Indeed for collectors it doesn’t get much more iconic than this example, a Paul Newman 6239 in steel with the very desirable Tiffany & Co signature on the dial. Only one other example has surfaced at auction in the past 15 years and bears the exact same location of the signature on the dial and interestingly the exact same location of the dot after the & Co at almost half the HEIGHT of the signature. Also the retailer’s signature completes perfectly the gap in the dial by filling out that space giving it a more even and harmonious layout.
